Our Trustees
The Swad in Bloom Community Group is a not for profit organisation working with volunteers, local businesses, community groups and the local authorities to carry out its aims and objectives. Everyone is welcome to join in at any time. The Swad in Bloom Community Group is run by a group of Trustees and Volunteer Leads to ensure the Group is run efficiently and effectively. Ian Bottrill, Secretary
ButtonIan arrived in Swadlincote from Snowdonia with a passion for gardening (although still very much a novice) and a background in local government and education. Ian is looking forward to contributing a lot of enthusiasm to help with the objectives of the Swad in Bloom Community Group.

Angie Griffin, Treasurer
ButtonAfter watching the Britain in Bloom TV programme, Angie set the wheels in motion to gather interest and support in setting up the Swad in Bloom Community Group. An avid gardener, passionate about people and a good head for accounts makes Angie the ideal treasurer and volunteer.

Bal Purewal, Trustee
ButtonBal shares a keen interest in gardening and the environment with her husband and is heavly involved in the Tutbury Flower Club, competing in and judging flower shows as well as demonstrating beautiful floral displays and arrangements.
